The 2024 Rogue Invitational is set to make history as it will be held in Aberdeen, Scotland, marking the first time this prestigious competition takes place outside the United States. Following its origins in Ohio, the event transitioned to an online format during the pandemic, and over the past few years, it found a home in Texas.

Last year, the Rogue Invitational crowned Laura Horvath and Pat Vellner as champions, while Mitchell Hooper emerged victorious in the Strongman division.

Prize Purse

The Rogue Invitational stands out as one of the premier CrossFit competitions beyond the regular season, offering a substantial prize purse that draws significant attention from athletes and the media alike. As of now, the total prize purse is an impressive $1,766,635.75, with potential for increases as the competition date approaches.

The calculations for the prize purse include:

  1. Rogue’s $1 million cash investment.
  2. $275,000 worth of Bitcoin, acquired at $35,000 per coin. The final amount will depend on market valuation at the time the purse is locked.
  3. $5 from each attendee ticket sold will contribute to the purse.
  4. 10% of registration fees from the 2024 online qualifier, “The Q.”
  5. 10% of registration fees from the 2024 community event, “The C.”
  6. $5 from the sale of every Rogue Invitational T-shirt.
  7. $5 from each pair of GORUCK Ballistic Trainers sold on roguefitness.com.

Last year’s final prize purse amounted to $1,629,676.17, with all participating athletes earning a share based on their final standings in the competition.
