Key Dates for the Semifinals
The workouts for the highly anticipated Individual In-Affiliate Semifinals for 2025 have officially been released. Competitors will kick off the Semifinals on Thursday, May 1 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time, providing an exciting lead-up to the CrossFit Games.
Athletes will have until Sunday evening to complete the workouts and submit their scores, as well as any required video documentation.
Path to the CrossFit Games
This year, the stakes are high, with the top 11 male and top 11 female athletes around the globe earning an invitation to the prestigious 2025 CrossFit Games. In addition to securing a spot at the Games, these elite competitors will also be in the running for prize money.
Workout Breakdown
Workout 1
As many rounds and reps as possible in 15 minutes of:
- 3 muscle-ups
- 3 back squats
- 30-foot handstand walk (15 feet out and back)
Note: Add 3 reps to the muscle-ups and squats every round.
Weights: ♂ 275 lb (125 kg), ♀ 185 lb (83 kg)
Workout 2
20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2 reps for time of:
- Dumbbell overhead walking lunges
- GHD sit-ups
Weights: ♂ 70-lb (32.5-kg) dumbbells, ♀ 50-lb (22.5-kg) dumbbells.
Time cap: 20 minutes
Workout 3
Heavy Isabel
For time:
- 30 snatches
Weights: ♂ 225 lb (102 kg), ♀ 155 lb (70 kg).
Time cap: 10 minutes
Workout 4
For total reps, every 2 minutes for 5 rounds, complete:
- 10 50-foot shuttle runs (25 feet out and back)
- 10 clean and jerks
- Max lateral burpees over the bar in the time remaining
Note: Rest 1 minute between rounds.
Weights: ♂ 135 lb (61 kg), ♀ 85 lb (38 kg)
Workout 5
As many rounds and reps as possible in 30 minutes of:
- 1,000-meter row
- 30 toes-to-bars
- 6 rope climbs to 15 feet
