On the final day of the 2024 CrossFit Games, a poignant moment took place outside Dickies Arena as the community came together to honor the memory of Lazar Dukic, who tragically passed away during event 1 of the competition. Top 30 Athletes Battle It Out

Meanwhile, inside the arena, the top 30 athletes competed fiercely, with only a limited number of competitors remaining after 13 athletes had withdrawn following the heartbreaking news of Dukic’s passing. Despite the somber atmosphere, the competition continued as athletes gave their all in pursuit of the title of Fittest on Earth.

Workout 8: Dickies Triplet

The day’s events kicked off with Workout 8, known as the Dickies Triplet, challenging both men and women with a grueling 5 rounds for time:

  • 175-meter run
  • 12 toes-to-bars
  • 8 alternating dumbbell snatches (70/100 lb)

The women’s heat showcased outstanding performances. With the run portion set inside the arena to shield athletes from the Texas heat, it was a straightforward yet demanding event that tested the endurance and pace of the competitors.
