It wasn’t until after her collegiate softball career that she rekindled her passion for weightlifting, dabbling in occasional boot camp classes and free weight sessions to stay active. Despite having virtually no competitive CrossFit experience upon starting her training at Riverbend CrossFit in January 2013, Katie’s remarkable strength and determination quickly set her apart.
